Are you passionate about music? We're excited to introduce the HKU Music Festival – an event by the University of Hong Kong Libraries that's all about celebrating creativity. This festival is a platform for students to showcase their talents and share their love for music and artistic expression with the HKU community.
Made possible by a generous donation from Mr. John Lau, who graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1971 with an honours degree in B.Soc.Sci. and is a Riccian (Ricci Hall). This support ensures that the festival can provide an outstanding showcase of artistic performances.
The HKU Music Festival is not just another event – it's a unique opportunity for students to shine. From classical melodies to pop tunes, and even traditional Chinese opera, the festival welcomes original works of all genres, each ranging from 3 to 8 minutes. Whether you're performing solo or in a team, this is your chance to take the stage and share your passion with the world.
Save the Date: 19 January 2024
The inaugural HKU Music Festival will take place in January 2024. This event promises to be a testament to the vibrant creative spirit of HKU students. It's a chance for the community to come together and celebrate the power of artistic expression.
